Funeral mass for Lorissa Gonzales, 68, of Sallisaw, were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Gonzales was born on March 8, 1956, in Alpine, Texas, to Sara (Garcia) Aguilar and Antonio Aguilar. She died on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
She was a retired U.S. Army Hospital Administrative Officer and a proud Vietnam Era Veteran. She enjoyed yard work, hunting and fishing, was an exceptional cook, and a devout Catholic.
Survivors are husband, Lupe Gonzales of Sallisaw; two daughters and son-in-law, Sarah Gonzales and Nikki and Cody Osborn, all of Sallisaw; one granddaughter; one grandson on the way; three sisters, Glynda Gonzales and Bill of Lubbock, Texas, JoElla Smart and Michael of Seguin, Texas, and Regina Muniz of Monahans, Texas; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Antonio Aguilar, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Edward Muniz.
