Mary Marline (Miles) Smallwood-Brooks, 83, of Gore, died on Thursday, April 18, 2024, in Muskogee. She was born on Dec. 17, 1940, in Independence, Kan., to Percy Lee Miles and Glynne Mae (Smith) Miles.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She worked in food prep at Fin and Feather Resort.

Survivors include two daughters, Marline Smallwood-Moreno of Woodland, Calif., and Jullian Beth (Smallwood) Gates of Gore; two sisters, LaDonna Smith of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Glenna Todd of Liberty, Mo.; three grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard Smallwood Jr.; second husband, Milton Brooks; two brothers, Joe Miles and Bill Miles; and two sisters, Marjorie McKinster and June Smith.
