Funeral services for Michael Ross Parish, 40, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Parish was born Dec. 3, 1983, in Fort Smith, Ark. He died on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Akins.
He was a 2002 Sallisaw High School graduate, and graduated from Tulsa Welding School in 2004. He was a welder, carpenter and former part owner of Shallow Water Bucking Bulls. He loved to fish, hunt, grow beautiful plants and flowers, take care of the cattle and search for arrowheads.
Survivors are parents, William and Melva Parish and Mark McDonald; daughter, Madisyn Parish; wife, Kim Parish; stepdaughters, Alexis, Brooke and Katie Springwater; grandmother, Kay McDonald; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Ross, Aaron and Lucille Parish, Mike Mc-Donald and Granny Peggy Ross.
Pallbearers were Matthew Hanna, Cole Lenington, Drew Martin, Travis Martin, Brent McDonald and Casey Rogers.
