Kenneth Gardenhire Jr.

April 25, 1953 – April 26, 2024

Funeral services for Kenneth Gardenhire Jr., 71, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Cremation was under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Gardenhire was born on April 25, 1953, in Muskogee to Kenneth Eugene “Pete” Gardenhire and Shirley Ann (Barker) Gardenhire. He died on Friday, April 26, 2024, in Sallisaw.

He was a mechanic. He married Patricia Ann Crawford on Feb. 3, 1970, in Marble City.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Melinda Gardenhire of Van Buren, Ark., and Teresa and Charles Day of Spiro; two sons, Teddy and Connie Gardenhire and Roger and Becky Gardenhire all of Sallisaw; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Lonnie and Leon Gardenhire.
