Celebration of life services for Marion Earl Fair, 73, of Sallisaw, were held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, at OSHSA Black Diamond Event Center.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, at Sallisaw First Baptist Church under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
Mr. Fair was born on Nov. 27, 1950, in Osaka, Japan, to Earl Alton and Mickey (Miyoko) Fair. He died on Monday, June 3, 2024, in Sallisaw.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was cofounder of the Sallisaw Cheerleading Booster Club, volunteered with the Sallisaw Wrestling Community, Sallisaw Football Chain Gang, Girls’ Softball and The Brent Fire Department. He dedicated years to developing the Sallisaw Youth League.
Survivors are his companion, Lynn Daggs of Sallisaw; three daughters, Miko and Shawn Morris of Oklahoma City, Emilia and Erik Coffman of Sallisaw; six grandchildren; brother, Roy and wife Beth Fair of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Sallisaw Cheerleading or Wrestling Booster Club.
