Memorial services for Ed Heflin, 64, of Gore, were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Heflin was born on Oct. 9, 1959, in Marlow to James Gilbert Heflin and Bonnie Rue (Cleere) Heflin. He died on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was a retired Missionary Baptist minister. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing dominos. He adored doting on his family.
He married Nancy Candler on May 26, 1979, in St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Heflin of the home; three daughters, Jessica and James Riediger of Edmond, Melissa Thompson of Vian and Rebekah and James Whitaker of Humboldt, Tenn.; two sons, Aaron and Rebecca Heflin of Vian and Thomas Heflin of Petoskey, Mich.; his father, of Gore; one brother, Daniel and Patricia Heflin of Hollis; seven grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and two brothers, Max Heflin and Jerry Heflin.
