Harold Lloyd Merrill

Jan. 17, 1927 – Aug. 1, 2024

A Celebration of Life Service was held for Harold Lloyd Merrill, 97, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at Bethany United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kan., under the direction of Cozine Memorial Group-Broadway Mortuary.

Mr. Merrill was born on Jan. 17, 1927, to Ocie and Nancy Senora Merrill and died on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. (Sanders) Merrill; son, Douglas Merrill (Cinde); step-daughter, Cindy Willhelm (Michael); daughter-in-law, Rita Merrill; sister, Jo Ann Catlett (Dean); two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his former spouse, Eva Merrill; sons, Ronnie Merrill and Russell Merrill; parents, Ocie and Nancy Senora Merrill; sister, Mildred Gentine; and grandson, Bryan Merrill.

Memorials have been established with: Bethany United Methodist Food Pantry, Clear Path Hospice of Wichita and National Parks Conservation Association.
