John Howard Phillips

He was a heavy equipment operator. He married Pamela Phillips on Aug. 12, 1977, in Red Oak.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela of the home; three sons, Marty and Kimberly Phillips of Sallisaw, Daniel and Toni Phillips of Bixby and Sammy and Haleigh Phillips of Edmond; three sisters, Kristi and Paul Walker and Betty Jo and Jim Stover, all of Tahlequah, and Erna and Cris Reeves of Peggs; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Adolf Brewer and Betty Hannah Brewer.

Funeral services for John Howard Phillips, 65, of Sallisaw, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Phillips was born on Sept. 18, 1958, in Tahlequah, to Betty Ann (Phillips) Brewer. He died on Wednesday,
