Funeral services for Viola Jean Noisey, 67, of Flute Springs, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial was at Flute Springs Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Noisey was born on Oct. 1, 1956, in Tahlequah to Eugene Homer Flute and Carrie (Fogg) Flute. She died on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, in Tulsa.

She was a housekeeper and homemaker. She married Otis Wayne Noisey in October 1972. He preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 2010.

Survivors include two daughters, Bertha Pigeon and George Flute Jr. of Sallisaw and Shawna and Joshua Williams of Flute Springs; one son, Koda Noisey of Flute Springs; one brother, George Flute and Peggy Girty Flute of Vian; 12 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Stephanie Moccasin; and a granddaughter.

Pallbearers were Winterhawk Grimmett, Koby Grimmett, Charlie Grimmett, Brandon Bush, Lyndon Smith, George “Boogie” Flute Jr. and Allen Pettit.
