Webbers Falls fielding full girls cross country team

Last fall, then junior Cheyanne Herrier had to carry the torch for Webbers Falls High School cross country. She won’t have to do that this fall.

Webbers Falls coach Meghan Johnson will be able to field a full Lady Warrior team of six runners, led by Herrier — now a senior.

Herrier won’t be the only senior as she will be joined by Gore transfer Kailey Mannon, who will make it a senior duo for the Lady Warriors.

Another transfer is Emily Coatney, who is transferring back to Webbers Falls High School after time spent going to school in Muskogee.

The roster is rounded out by Katie Frazier, Peyton Shanks and Madi Smith.

“I’m super excited,” Johnson said about having a full squad.
