Funeral services for William “Bill” Epps, 83, of Broken Arrow, were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Gans Assembly of God Church. Burial followed at Gans Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Epps was born on Jan. 13, 1941, near Booneville, Ark., to Lillian (Loyd) Epps and Ocie Estes Epps. He died on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, in Tulsa.
He married Saundra (Acton) Epps on Aug. 15, 1959, in Gans. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2022.
He was a retired evangelist and pastor with the Assembly of God Church for over 50 years. He loved traveling, singing and bringing the word of the Lord to everyone.
Survivors are three daughters, Cindy Rhoads and Steve of Broken Arrow, Billie Chance and Brad of Baton Rouge, La., and Tammy Peck and Townes of Pearland, Texas; six grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Jeanne Saulsberry.
