In the Game 1 win over Heavener, after the Lady Wolves took a 1-0 lead in the opening inning, the Lady Wolverines (3-6 overall, 2-3 in District 3A-8 play) put away the game with as sevenrun first inning, a tworun second inning and a five-run fifth inning to put the game into run-rule status.

For the contest, Kala Gibbins was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a run batted in, Rayleigh Terrill was 2-for-3 with a double, four RBIs and three runs scored and Tina Rautenberg was 2-for-3 with a run scored for Vian.

Gibbins (3-6) got the win, striking out three batters and throwing a four-inning four-hitter.

In the nightcap, the Lady Wolverines had to rally from a 7-4 deficit by scoring five runs in the fifth inning to cut the deficit to 8-6, then scoring five runs in the sixth inning to come from trailing 9-6 to take an 11-9 lead.

For the game, Gibbins was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, four RBIs and three runs scored, Hanna Mattingly was 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBIs and a run scored and Terrill doubled and scored once for Vian.

In the loss to Spiro, after the Lady Wolverines took a 2-0 lead in the opening inning, the Lady Bulldogs scored once in the first inning, three runs in the third inning and once in the fifth inning to get the come-from-behind win.

In defeat, Eden Girty was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, Terrill was 2-for-3 and Gibbins doubled with an RBI and a run scored for Vian.

In the loss to Eufaula, the Lady Ironheads completed the district series sweep of the Lady Wolverines.

The Lady Ironheads put away the game early with a six-run first inning. The closest the Lady Wolverines got was 9-2 in the third inning as a four-run sixth inning for Eufaula put the game into run-rule status.
