TAHLEQUAH — The Gore elementary and middle school cross country runners competed in Saturday’s Sequoyah- Tahlequah Invitational.
The Pirates elementary school team finished third as a team with 63 points with two runners making the top 15 — Quinn Montgomery was 12th (6:53.37) and Eli Montgomery was 13th (6:54.35).
As for other Pirates, Tripp Smith was 25th (7:25.4), Easton Lewis was 44th (8:37.85), Jett Ward was 46th (9:00.81), Elijah Fowler was 51st (9:47.26), Luke Williams was 55th (10:18.83) and Elliott Holland was 56th (10:21.46).
The Lady Pirates elementary school squad was seventh with 144 points, and one top-20 finisher as Karsyn Springer was 20th (7:16.48).
As for other Lady Pirates, Annika Pruitt was 23rd (7:20.75), Kimberlynn Quick was 31st (7:42.23), Adalynn Sandy was 46th (8:17.16), Isabella Mannon was 56th (8:30.43), Saige Farris was 63rd (8:45.12), River Johnson was 66th (8:58.82), Tenleigh Lewis was 71st (9:05.86), Elle Keathley was 75th (9:13.64), Carlee Bennett was 76th (9:15.1), Alissa Cox was 78th (9:17.89), Adeline Sloan was 88th (10:06.09), Ella Barrett was 91st (10:31.04) and Hazel Montgomery was 92nd (10:58.66).
