Central Lady Tigers sixth at Muldrow Invitational; Gore girls trio also participate

The Central Lady Tigers were sixth in Thursday morning’s Muldrow Invitational cross country meet, which took place at the old Muldrow Golf Course. They scored 119 points.

Paris Campbell was the Central Lady Tigers’ fastest runner of the morning as she was seventh (14:33.65) to make the top 10. Cambree Bair was 15th (15:05.87) and Scarlett Harrison was 19th (15:16.22) as each made the top 20. Xhayla Mosby was 50th (18:05.24), Rileigh Ford was 53rd (18:19.38), Jacliynn Young was 62nd (20:11.35) and Gracie Thompson was 63rd (20:16.13).

The Gore Lady Pirates had three runners participate in Thursday morning’s meet. Amelia White just made the top 20 as she was 20th (15:21.22). Rayleigh Moore was 29th (16:04.07), while Gracie Bruce was 64th (20:24.25).

In the junior high girls race, the Central Lady Tigers were third with 73 points.

In the high school boys race, Central’s Kyle Reed was 71st (30:16.43).

Three Lady Tigers made the top 20, with two making the top five. Sara Williams was third (8:17.61) and Sadie Huff was fifth (8:31.02). Teammate Emma Baggs was 15th (9:25.33).

As for other Lady Tigers, Bryar Goodson was 23rd (9:39.6), Shelby Jones was 32nd (9:56.47), Graye Riggs was 36th (10:08.53), Olivia Blalock was 42nd (10:17.53), Sailor Bauer was 53rd (10:41.05), Scotti Wilson was 55th (10:42.57) and Kynleigh Crawford was 56th (10:51.28).

In the junior high boys race, the Tigers were eighth with 186 points.

Daxton Moldrup was the Tigers’ fastest runner as he was 33rd (9:29.75). Koleman Edwards was 38th (9:50.14), Wyatt Parker was 41st (9:59.99), Kaden Winters was 49th (10:32.85) and Augustus Parker was 68th (11:54.21).

Gore’s junior high runners participated in the two-mile JH races at the Muskogee Invitational on Sept. 12.

In the junior high boys’ race, Frye Blake was 33rd (14:03), Bryson Franco was 41st (14:27), Wyatt Chitty was 61st (15:04), Cale Cox was 80th (15:34) and Quinn Montgomery was 92nd (16:09).

Two Lady Pirates ran in the JH race. Taylor Kinion was 65th (16:59), while Ashlynn Munson was 87th (18:00).

The Central runners will be idle until the Spiro Invitational next Tuesday, while the Gore runners will return to action at the Checotah Crossroads Invitational on Oct. 8.
