The Cherokee Nation will offer drive-through flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at all the tribe’s health center locations Oct. 11 on select days and times.
Drive-through vaccinations at each health center location will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 to 5 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 6 p.m.
During community events, vaccines will be available for all members of the public ages 3 and older for the flu vaccination, and ages 12 and older for the COVID vaccine. There will also be a drive-through vaccine event at One Fire Field on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. If the weather is unfavorable on Oct. 15, the event will be rescheduled to Oct. 24.
Other community vaccination events are also scheduled for various sites across the reservation, including at community buildings, local businesses, churches and town halls.
