She was a retired educator with Vian Public Schools and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Marisa Spence and Stephen of Plantsville, Conn.; one son, Brian Emanuel and Kylie of Broken Arrow; one sister, Connie Sue Cook of Vian; one brother, David Leroy Elmore of Vian; three grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Ivan Leroy “Buddy” Elmore Jr.

Rachel Dawn Emanuel, 69, of Vian, died on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, in Vian. She was born on June 25, 1955, in Bartlesville to Ivan Leroy Elmore and Gertrude Irene (North) Elmore.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
