John Boekeloo Mac-Donald Jr., 83, of Sallisaw, died on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, in Sallisaw. He was born on Aug. 27, 1941, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to John Boekeloo MacDonald and Francis Marie (Woods) Phillips.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

He was the owner and operator of a car dealership and of the Assembly of God faith.

He married Sheila C. Whalen on Sept. 20, 2003. Survivors include his wife, Sheila MacDonald of the home; one daughter, Sue and Stoney Jackson of Searcy, Ark.; one son, Johnny and Deanna Mac-Donald of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Patrick MacDonald of Sallisaw; five grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Mickey MacDonald and Jeff MacDonald.
