A Saturday afternoon collision has reportedly claimed the life of a 75-year-old Park Hill woman, according to an accident report issued by Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Mary Kelley, who was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
The three-vehicle accident occurred on U.S. Hwy. 82 at South Lakeview Drive, one mile south of Keys in Cherokee County. The cause of the collision and each driver remains under investigation as of press time, Monday afternoon.
Also involved in the accident but uninjured were Tyler Petree, 21, of Tahlequah, who was driving a 2006 Ford F-150; and Bailee Scott, 24, and her passenger, Seth Woodward, 26, both of Fort Gibson. Scott was reportedly driving a 2003 Dodge Ram 3500.
The collision was investigated by Trooper Jared Sharp #621 of the Traffic Homicide Unit detachment. He was assisted by Lt. Thomas Mullins #82 of Troop C and Trooper Colton Croft #309 of the Cherokee County detachment of Troop C, members of the Cherokee County Sheriff ’s Office and Cherokee County EMS.
