Eastern Oklahoma Development District (EODD) Area Agency on Aging offers Medicare assistance to seniors on Medicare in comparing Part D prescription plans. It is a good idea to compare Part D plans every year to plans coming in 2025, and EODD can help confirm your plan will continue to cover your current prescriptions.
Open Enrollment continues through December 7 every year.
EODD AAA is a State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) certified agency. EODD can also help you apply for extra help to see if you qualify for Medicare Part D assistance with your premiums, co-pays and deductible, and you might qualify for a Medicare Savings Program to help with your Part B premium. EODD can also assist with possible Medicare fraud through the Senior Medicare Patrol program.
EODD AAA services are available to all person 60 years of age or older regardless of income. Services provided through the Older Americans Act have no set fees or charges, although donations are accepted and appreciated to defray costs of services.
