Melinda Gail Davis Jones

Melinda Gail (Davis) Jones, 69, of Vian, died on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, in Vian. She was born on Feb. 16, 1955, in San Jose, Calif., to J.B. Davis and Dortha Pat (Lawson) Bowles.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa and Richard Sitton II of Vian and Tina Haase of Beaver Dam, Wis.; her mother, of Vian; one brother, Joe Davis of Vian; one sister, Laura Millard of Vian; eight grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Clinton Jones; two sisters, Charlotte Hickey and Leslie Markhart; and two brothers, Paul Davis and Mitch Davis.
