The Webbers Falls Board of Trustees met at 6 p.m. for a special session on Nov. 19, where they made key decisions regarding employee promotions and raises.
Mayor Johnny Pollard called the session to order and following a brief roll call, the board moved into an executive session to discuss matters related to the employment and compensation of three town employees: Fred Shamblin, Bradley Brocker and Caden Robinson.
Upon returning from the executive session at 6:10 p.m., the board took action on the discussed items:
• Fred Shamblin was promoted to supervisor of field and town maintenance employees, with a raise of $1.50 per hour, reflecting the two water licenses he recently obtained.
• Bradley Brocker also received a raise of $1.50 per hour for his two water licenses.
• Caden Robinson was rehired with a $1.50 per hour raise for his two water licenses. In addition to the raise, Robinson was awarded a $750 end-of-year bonus and a $300 clothing allowance.
All motions were unanimously approved by the board members present. The meeting concluded at 6:15 p.m. with no further business discussed.
