The Gore Elementary Character Council had a great time collecting over 200 blankets for the community. A pizza party competition was held to see which class could collect the most blankets, with Mrs. Jana Morris’s second grade class winning the pizza party. Thanks to generous donations, the blankets were donated to the Gore Police Department, Gore Nursing Home, and other charities. Gore Police Chief Christenberry said the blankets would definitely come in handy. Pictured (from left) is Brayleigh Powell, Hadley Smith, Chief Christenberry, Courtney Crouch, and Garret Sandy. A huge thanks to all of the elementary pirates for helping others!
