Bobby D. Cartwright, 71, of Sallisaw, died on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, in Sallisaw. He was born on April 16, 1953, in Sallisaw to Ruth Ann (Cartwright) Spencer.
No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
He worked for Sequoyah County District 3 as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include two daughters, Shannon and Gordon Nichols of Sallisaw and Teresa and Mark Mc-Cleod of Muldrow; one son, Brian Cartwright of Sallisaw; one brother, Terry Spencer of Gans; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, Joseph Cartwright and James Dawes; and four sisters, Brenda McHenry, Linda James, Sheila Long and Sherry Spencer.
