POTEAU — Three Gore Pirates Youth Wrestling members won titles at the 2024 Viking Tournament, which took place Dec. 14.

Jaydan Gates won the 155-pound title in the age 15-and-younger division, Levi Hughart took gold at 49 pounds in the age 8-and-younger novice division and Stetson Andrews won the championship at 64 pounds in the age 8-and-novice division.

All total, nine members participated in the event, with Stryker Sandy coming in second twice — doing so at 130 pounds in the age 12-and-younger division and at 130 pounds in the age 12-andyounger novice division.

Also coming in as runners-up were Wyatt Chitty at 84 pounds in the age 12-and-younger novice division and Isabella Mannon at 64 pounds in the girls age 8-and-younger novice division.

Jace Gates (130 pounds, age 12-andyounger division) and Hastin Chitty (40, age 6-and-younger) were third.

Jeremy Brown wrestled at 105 pounds in the age 8-and-younger novice division but just missed out in placing.
