Memorial services for Hank Birdtail, 71, of Gore, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Oak Grove Baptist in Webbers Falls under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Birdtail was born on Feb. 19, 1953, in Gore to William “Bill” Birdtail and Flora (Washington) Birdtail. He died on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024.
He was a 1971 graduate of Gore High School. He worked for 30 years as an electrician at ITS Electrical in Savannah, Ga. He enjoyed playing pool, listening to music and gardening. He will be profoundly missed by those who knew him.
Survivors include three sisters, Rosie Watts and Lora and Luis Cortez, all of Gore, and Susie and Derek Abshere of Muskogee; four brothers, Henry and Joncie Birdtail of Porum, George and June Birdtail of Pooler, Ga., Marvin and Janie Birdtail of Meridian, Miss., and Roy and Teresa Birdtail of Alma, Ark.; three grandsons; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; companion, Camille Silva; one son, William Henry Birdtail; one sister, Marie Ellen Elbon; and two brothers, Leon and Richard Birdtail.
