The Webbers Falls High School basketball team split their home games Dec. 10 against Braggs at Webbers Falls Event Center.
The Lady Warriors opened the night with a 59-23 win over the Lady Wildcats, but the ’Cats remained undefeated with an 89-42 win over the Warriors.
In the girls’ game, the Lady Warriors (4-3) led 16-1 after a period and were never headed.
For the game, Webbers Falls put three players into double figures, led by Bridgette Baer’s 16 points, Audri Spears’ 14 points and Cheyanne Herrier’s 13 points. Bailey Ward scored eight points, followed by Kailey Mannon and River Harrison with three points each and Payton Shanks with two points.
In defeat, Katelyn Chandler led the Lady Wildcats (2-10) with a game-high 17 points.
In the boys’ game, the Wildcats (12-0) jumped out to a 31-9 lead after a quarter and never looked back.
Sam Hensley scored a game-high 26 points, with 24 of his points coming on eight firsthalf 3-point baskets.
In defeat, Thadan Yandell scored 10 points to lead the Warriors (4-3), followed by Luke Pierce with nine points, Chevy Cole with eight points, Eli Hefflin with five points, Brutus Robinson and Trysten Wilbourn with four points each and Elliott Kunkel with two points.
