Funeral services for David Muriel Moore, 55, of Muskogee, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore with Pastor Kenneth Byrd officiating.
Burial followed on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, with military honors at Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore was born on March 24, 1969, in Cuero, Texas, to Thomas Clyde Moore and Ell’Ann Hughes. He died on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at his home.
He served as a ship mechanic in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for morel mushrooms, and sharing his love of discovery with his children.
Survivors are his children, Chloe Moore and Mannon Moore; their mother, Tracy Mannon Moore; brother, Tom Moore Jr.; sisters, Becky Towels and Tina Madina; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
