John Studdard

Memorial services for John Studdard, 79, of Vian, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Cremation was under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Studdard was born on Nov. 13, 1945, in Bowman, Ark., to John Winston Studdard and Mattie Lee (Huntley) Studdard. He died on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, in Vian.

He was a truck driver. He married Nancy Lou James on Nov. 2, 2001, in Franklin County, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy, of the home; two sisters, Evelyn Ford and Linda Shurtlett, both of Arkansas; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister.
