Memorial services for Stanley Brown, 75, of Gore, were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Cremation was under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born on April 8, 1949, to Willie Richard Brown and Betty Lou (Mc-Coy) Brown. He died on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, in Gore.

He was a carpenter and of the Pentecostal faith. He married Mary Lou Kidd on Sept. 16, 1978, in Yukon.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Brown of the home; four daughters, Angela Davis of Ardmore, Stacy Hensley of Calera, Kally Brown of Gore and Kerry Brown of Norman; one brother, Melvin and Lou Brown of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Virginia Asbill; and one brother, Gerald Brown.
