SALINA — It was a good day for several Vian Wrestling Club members at the Salina King/Queen of the Ring Tournament, which took place Jan. 11.

Dax Stewart (76 pounds, age 10-andyounger division) and Bronc Sumpter (90, age 10-and-younger division) took home championships.

Joely Hunt (9198 pounds, girls age 12-and-younger division), Harlea Lucas (67, girls age 10-andyounger division), Maddison “Maddie” Turman (82-88, girls age 10-and-younger division), Thomas Sandlin (58, age 8-and-younger division), Jestin Rosson (73, age 12-and-younger division) and Rocky Ford (105, age 12-andyounger division) all finished as runners-up.

Luke Sandlin was fourth at 55 pounds in the age 8-and-younger division, while Gage Hines was fourth at 84 pounds in the age 12-and-younger division.
