Funeral services for Grover Drew Jr., 70, of Tulsa, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Vian. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Drew was born on Aug. 30, 1954, in Vian to Grover Drew Sr. and Almaree (Williams) Drew. He died on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, in Tulsa.
He worked at Oklahoma Steel Casting until 1989, and briefly attended Tulsa Junior College. He enjoyed music, specifically jazz and blues. He was a kind and generous man.
Survivors include one sister, Neomi Palmer; brother-in-law, Leroy Schumpert; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, George Drew Sr., Anthony Drew Sr., Rosetta Hunt, Helen Schumpert and Virgial Lane.
