Northeastern State University (NSU) has announced those to be named as 2025 Centurions, which includes a Vian High School graduate.
The newest class of NSU Centurions to be honored include Holly Cunningham Sisk, 1986 NSU Alumna and Vian High School graduate; AG of the Cherokee Nation Chad Harsha, JD, former Secretary of Natural Resources of the Cherokee Nation, 2009 Alumnus; Dr. Alan Herrin, Ph.D., M.S., 1958 Alumnus; William “Bill” Langley Jr., NSU Foundation board member, 1969 Alumnus; Mr. Bobby J. Thompson, MBA, VP of Operations at Contech Construction, Inc., Alumni Representative of the Phi Lambda Chi fraternity, 1983 and 1985 Alumnus; and Dr. Darryl Linde, Ph.D., M.S., NSU Professor of Mathematics and former Chair of Department of Math and Computer Science.
A NSU Centurion is an individual whose dedication to helping others in their community and beyond any physically imposed boundaries, has made a notably positive impact during the course of NSU’s well documented history.
The prestigious award has been given to NSU faculty, alumni, staff, students or any member of the NSU community, past or present who has affected the life of the nominator, the Northeastern community or the public at large.
A Centurion, can be living or deceased, and should embody the communal spirit and legacy of the university.
In celebration of NSU’s Founders Day 2025, these new members will be added to the list of NSU Centurions and will be honored during a luncheon on March 6 at 11:30 a.m. in the Senator Herb Rozell Ballroom at the NSU University Center.
