The Sequoyah County Health Department is excited to announce the launch of its new program, “Take Charge,” aimed at providing critical breast and cervical cancer screenings for uninsured and underinsured women.
“The program is a wonderful addition to our health department and will help eliminate barriers to care,” Linda Vise, District Nurse Manager said. “I hope that women who have been previously denied these vital cancer screenings due to lack of insurance coverage or inability to pay, will give us a call to see if we can help.”
