Arlin Edward Johnson, 74, passed away on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born on Nov. 13, 1950, in Fort Smith, to Walter Edward Johnson and Mary Ivi (Turner) Johnson.
He married Marie Johnson in September 1967, in Akins. She precedes him in death.
He dedicated over 35 years to his career as an electrician with Trotter Electric. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
Survivors are three children, E.W. Johnson and wife Kim, Mary Jean Carr and husband David, and Debbie Soap and husband Roy; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Johnson of Macon, Ga.; brothers-in-law, Danny Hoover and wife Theresa, Tommy Hoover and wife Nonni, and Gary Hoover; sister-in-law, Janie Hoover; and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Roy Johnson, Henry Johnson and J.W. Johnson.
