A memorial service for Chris Holmes, 51, of Sallisaw, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Sallisaw Creek Park.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Holmes was born on Jan. 5, 1974, in Roswell, N.M., to Johnny Holmes and Pat Howard. He died on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, in Sallisaw.

He worked for Bill Brown Tire. He married Sharon Pettit in June 2017, in Sallisaw.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Holmes of the home; two daughters, Raina Holmes of Fort Smith, Ark., and Sam Harris of Jackson, Miss.; three sons, William Holmes of Sallisaw, Little Leaf Youngpuppy of Tahlequah and Spencer Sisney of Sallisaw; his mother, of Vian; one sister, Brandee Howard of Sallisaw; one brother, Jeremy Howard of Florida; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.
