Funeral services for Dan House, 71, of Vian and formerly of Oologah, were held at 2 p.m. at Liberty Assembly of God Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Mallory- Martin Funeral Services, Inc.
Mr. House was born on Nov. 28, 1953, in Sallisaw, to Velma Lee (Rhodes) House and Joe Thomas House. He passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, in Tulsa.
He served as an Aviation Maintenance Technician for American Airlines for 38 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, boating, Corvettes, and watching NASCAR with his son.
He married Debra Owens on Feb. 14, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Survivors are his wife, Debra House; five daughters, Danyelle Hayes and husband Jeremy of Oologah, Mandy Puryear and husband Justin Ivins of Okmulgee, Ashley House and husband Joe Gibson of Manitou Springs, Stacci Canada of Oologah, and Candace Bonilla and husband Raul of Tulsa; one son, William House, Jr. of Oologah; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Survivors include a sister, Wanda Anderson and husband Jim of Charleston, Ark.; along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Christina House; grandson, Brett Hoover; three sisters, Ginny Blaylock, Oletta Walters and Freda Thomas; and three brothers, James House, Ray House and Prentice House.
