Celebration of Life service for Floyd Dale Brown of Murfreesboro, Tenn. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Round Mountain Church in Vian, with Bro. Jay McAllister of Grandview Baptist Church officiating.
Mr. Brown was born on Dec. 18, 1961, in Sallisaw to Jewell “Robinson” Brown and William “Bill” Brown. He passed away on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
He attended Vian Schools until his late teens, and then moved to Oklahoma City to begin his career in hanging sheetrock. His journey led him to Murfreesboro where he made his home for 35 years. He enjoyed NASCAR races and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors are his companion of 35 years, Rosetta “Rosey” Mathis, of the home; his twins, Bethany Ballard and husband Steve and Bailey Brown and wife Amelia of Muskogee; two step-sons Danny Mathis and Randell Mathis both of Murfreesboro; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Slavens and Linda Brown both of Fort Smith, Ark,; two brothers, James Brown and wife Bink of Van Buren, Ark. and Jackie Brown and wife Trina of Fort Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
