The Sequoyah County Health Department is gearing up for its second annual Flutter Fest, a fun and family-friendly event that will take place in Marble City at the Community Center, 111 Main St., on April 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A sensory-friendly hour will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, offering a calm and welcoming environment for all attendees. The event will kick off with a proclamation signing ceremony at 10:45 a.m., and the public is invited to join in.
This no-cost event is part of Child Abuse Prevention Month and offers a variety of resources designed to empower and support families. Attendees can look forward to activities such as face painting, a bouncy house, car seat safety checks, resource tables, and a ribbon walk.
“This year, we’re excited to have even more vendors and activity booths for families,” Kassandra Briggs, OSDH Health Educator said. “We encourage everyone to wear blue and come out for a great time!”
