The 2025 track season will begin for the Gore Lady Pirates and Pirates at Thursday’s Wilburton Invitational, which will begin at 10 a.m.

For the Lady Pirates, the post-Hallie Kinion era will begin as the All-Stater is now in the United States Navy at Annapolis, Md.

The Lady Pirates do return Ricki Huckbay, Emily Daily, Kennedy Williams, Gracie Bruce and Rayleigh Moore. Newcomers are Hallie Brewer, Amelia White, River Shoemake, Sophie O’Connor and CoCo Carter.

The Pirates return four members from last year’s squad — Landyn Johnson, Marcus Scott, Antonio Parker and Gabe Hefley. Rounding out the roster are Grant Davis, Cole Brooksher, Weston Cunningham, Trenton Cunningham, Zac Comer — who was at Central last year — and Maden Smith.
