The Webbers Falls Warriors lost their only baseball game of Spring Break Week, losing 17-3 in five innings to the Hulbert Riders on March 17 at Eual Carter Sports Complex.
The Warriors were slated to be in an roadthree way with Talihina at Central on March 18 but had to drop out of it due to having too many players gone to the 2025 Oklahoma Youth Expo in Oklahoma City.
In the loss to Hulbert, the Riders scored three runs in each of the first two innings for a 6-0 lead. After the Warriors (2-5) cut their deficit to 6-2 after three innings, the Riders put the game into run-rule status with an 11-run fifth inning.
In defeat, Aiden Turley and Zane Nolan each singled for the only hits for the Warriors.
Ryan Cowan (0-1) suffered the loss, despite getting three strikeouts in four innings. After Gunner Shelby got the next two outs, one of which was by strikeout, Luke Pierce got the last out on a strikeout.
