A National Day of Prayer for abused, neglected children CASA for Children is calling on local churches and faith communities to participate in Blue Sunday on April 27, a national day of prayer dedicated to lifting up abused and neglected children and the adults who care for and protect them.
Every year on Blue Sunday, faith organizations across the country unite in prayer for children who have experienced abuse, along with those who stand in the gap – CASA volunteers, foster families, child welfare workers, and others dedicated to their healing and protection.
“This day reminds us that while children may face unthinkable circumstances, they don’t have to face them alone,” said Suzanne Hughes, Executive Director of CASA for Children. “We invite our local churches to join this powerful movement and commit to praying for the most vulnerable in our community.”
Ways to participate
