Lease-purchase contracts that will increase the Sequoyah County Sheriff ’s Office fleet of vehicles by four were approved by county commissioners last Monday at their weekly meeting.
The four Chevrolet vehicles will cost the sheriff ’s office $211,713.20, and is financed through Welch State Bank.
The lease-purchase transactions are through the state’s contract for vehicle acquisitions.
The commissioners’ approval clears the way for the sheriff ’s office to receive two 2025 Chevrolet 1500 crewcut 4×4 custom trail boss pickups at $51,716.60 each, as well as two 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe SSV 4×4 SUVs at $54,140 each.
The vehicles are purchased through John Vance Fleet Services, Guthrie.
