Sequoyah County Conservation District has announced that applications for the Oklahoma Conservation Cost-Share Program Year 27 will be accepted until close of business on April 25.
The program offers financial and technical assistance for herbaceous weed control and brush management.
Cost-share assistance will be provided at the rate of 85% of the lesser of the state average costs (based on NRCS data) or actual costs, not to exceed $2,300.00.
Landowners may make application for the program by picking up an application at the Sequoyah County Conservation District office located at 2606 S. Kerr Blvd., Sallisaw. P lease call 918-7756577 to make sure someone is in the office, as we are currently short staffed. You may also request that an application be emailed to you at sequoyahccd@ conservation. ok.gov.
